Requesting a video/Text testimonial (Manual)

Social prf makes it incredibly easy for you to request for testimonials from your clients. Here are the features
- Send a personalized message to your client through social prf account
- Create a personalized landing page for them to record their video or text testimonials
- Clients can record and upload their own videos from mobile/browser
- The recorded video will be hosted by Social prf and client details will be automatically added as an overlay on the video
- Embed single video in your site or add the video to the wall of love and embed the wall of love on your site.
To start requesting for a testimonial, login to your socialprf account and then navigate to the dashboard. Then under the Request option, click the Manual dropdown as shown below
Now, click the 'Request Testimonial' option which will open up a form to enter the customer details
Here you need to enter a few details in order to request a testimonial from your customers.
| Customer Name | Enter the name of the customer from whom you are requesting the review. This name will be used in the email that will be sent from socialprf requesting for a testimonial to your customer. Additionally this will also be displayed on the landing page that your customer will see when they want to record their testimonial. | Example: Mark Waugh |
| Role/Org | This is an optional field. If your customer is recording a video, then this value of their role/designation will be overlayed on top of the video. | Example: Director of Marketing |
| This is the email of your client/customer. The testimonial request will be sent to this email. | Example: [email protected] |
| Your message | Enter the message that you want your customer to see in the request email and the landing page asking for their review. This is an optional field. If left empty, the customers will see the default message on the landing page and email. | Default: Please take a moment to review your experience with us. Your feedback not only helps us, it helps other potential customers. |
| Request Type | Select the type of request you want to send to your customers. If you are sending a request to select video testimonials, choose option 1. If you would like to request for a testimonial in a 3rd party site like Google My Business, then select option 2. | Video/Text Testimonial |
| Send email | Every time a new request is created in socialprf, then an email will be sent to your customer by socialprf. However, if you do not want socialprf branded emails, and would rather send emails yourself, then uncheck this option. That way emails will not be sent to your customer by socialprf. You could copy the invitation URL from the UI and send an email manually, or you could automate the process by registering a webhook. Once this form has been submitted, an email will be sent to the user requesting for their testimonial.
The invitation URL will also be available against the testimonial request in your dashboard. On clicking the invitation URL, the user will be taken to their personalized landing page with their name and your message requesting for the testimonial.
You can embed both the standalone video in your site or add the video to the wall of love and embed the wall of love to your site.
