SocialPrf.io has three key functions:
1 Collecting new testimonials from your customers
2 Importing existing testimonials from external sites
3 Displaying testimonial widgets on your site
This guide explains how to use each function.
Once you login to your account and navigate to the, you should be seeing the dashboard like this

Each of these blocks help you perform specific actions.
Request Testimonials
This block has two drop options depending on what you want to perform.
Manual Requests
If you want to manually request a testimonial from your customer then you can click the 'Send New Request' option. This will allow socialprf.io to send an invitation email to your customers who can then click the link to record their testimonials.
For example, if a customer purchased your product/service and you want to request their testimonial - then you would click the manual option, enter the customer details and send an invitation.
If you want to manually enter a testimonial from your customer by yourself into socialprf then you can click the 'Add Testimonial' option.
For example, if a customer has sent their testimonial over email or verbally or in some other site, then you could enter the testimonial into socialprf.io by yourself
Automatic Requests
On the other hand if you would like to automate the process of requesting a testimonial, then you can use the 'Automate Requests' button. This would allow you to automate the testimonial collection process by using our API or automation services like Make/Zappier/Pabbly.
This is particularly useful if you want to setup the testimonial collection process in auto-pilot.
For example, if you want to automatically request a testimonial from every customer who purchases from you after 3 days of purchase, you can setup an automation for this.
Import Reviews
Let us say, you already have reviews in 3rd part sites like
- Google My business
- Trustpilot
- G2
- Capterra
- Product Hunt
In these scenarios, how can you display those reviews in your site using socialprf widget? This is when you can use the 'Import Testimonial' option. There are 2 options available under this.
- Manual Import
- Automatic Import
Manual Imports
If you want to manually import testimonials from your external websites, then you can click the 'Select Source' option and choose from one of the many options available to you. Once you submit your request, the reviews will get imported into socialprf. You can them choose which reviews need to be displayed on the widgets.
For example, using this option you can import your latest Google Reviews into socialprf in a few clicks.

Auto Imports
On the other hand if you would like to automate the process of importing testimonials as and when they arrive in 3rd party sites, then you can use the 'Auto Import' option. This would allow you setup the automation, through which socialprf will monitor for new reviews arriving in your external website and they will be imported automatically.
This is particularly useful if you want to setup the testimonial import process in auto-pilot.

Now that you have got reviews/testimonials inside socialprf, how can you display them as beautiful 'walls of love' on your website? The display widget section helps you do that.

Display Testimonial Widgets - This allows you to get the embeddable code for your testimonial collection and display them on your own website.
More on this can be found in their respective feature documents.
